IAHNTPnews,- Faculty of Dharma Duta and Brahma Widya of Institut Agama Hindu Negeri Tampung Penyang (IAHN-TP) Palangka Raya organized a Tourism Destination Management Training for students of Cultural and Religious Tourism Study Program on July 22, 2025.
Dean of the Faculty of Dharma Duta and Brahma Widya, Dr. I. Wayan Salendra, M.Si., in his report, stated that the training is an excellent program closely related to cultural and religious tourism. The event also featured competent speakers, Dr. Ni Nyoman Wilantari, S.Ag., M.Fil.H., and Mr. Kornelius Agustinus from the Department of Tourism.
In his remarks, Rector of IAHN-TP Palangka Raya, Dr. Mujiyono, S.Ag., M.Ag., expressed his appreciation for the successful implementation of the training, emphasizing that it would bring significant benefits to all participants.
The Rector also encouraged students to take part in the training with full commitment, not only to learn about management aspects in tourism but also to develop innovative ideas and strategies for strengthening tourism literacy across various fields.
Through this training, students are expected to absorb the knowledge shared by the speakers and upon graduation, they will be able to apply it effectively in managing cultural and religious-based tourism businesses. In particular, they are encouraged to contribute to the development of local genius tourism destinations as part of efforts to preserve the cultural heritage of Central Kalimantan. //Ar//
