IAHNTPnews,- Institut Agama Hindu Negeri Tampung Penyang (IAHN-TP) Palangka Raya held a public lecture featuring the Governor of Central Kalimantan, H. Agustiar Sabran, S.I.Kom., as the keynote speaker. The theme of the lecture, “Synergy Between IAHN-TP Palangka Raya and the Regional Government of Central Kalimantan in Achieving the Vision of One Dayak Bachelor per Family,” took place at the IAHN-TP Multipurpose Hall on Wednesday (17/9).

The event was attended by several distinguished officials, including the Head of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Education Office, Head of the Communication and Information Office, Head of the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP), representatives from the Office of Women’s Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control, and Family Planning, the Acting Head of the Civil Registry Office, Assistant III for General Administration, the Chairperson of the Central Board of the Great Council of the Hindu Kaharingan Religion, the Head of the Hindu Community Guidance Division of the Central Kalimantan Regional Office, the Chairperson of the Central Kaharingan Tandak Festival Committee, as well as IAHN-TP leaders, lecturers, and students.
In his remarks, IAHN-TP Rector Dr. Mujiono, S.Ag., M.Ag., expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the Governor’s presence and continued support for the institute.
“We sincerely thank the Governor for the scholarship provided to 74 students in 2024, as well as the contribution of a television unit. We look forward to further support that can help advance IAHN-TP,” the Rector said.
The Rector also reaffirmed IAHN-TP’s commitment to supporting the provincial government’s programs in education, research, and community service.
“We are committed to building human resources in Central Kalimantan who are characterized, cultured, and guided by the spirit of Isen Mulang (Never Give Up). IAHN-TP is determined to become an outstanding and competitive center for Hindu studies in Central Kalimantan. Currently, the institute has three faculties and one postgraduate program. We seek continued support for infrastructure and the development of study programs in traditional medicine and health,” he added.
The public lecture was conducted with great enthusiasm and served as a strategic step to strengthen synergy between IAHN-TP Palangka Raya and the Provincial Government of Central Kalimantan in advancing the vision of “One Family, One Bachelor.” //mr//
