IAHNTPNews,– The Student Regiment (Menwa) Maharaya Unit 604 of Institut Agama Negeri Tampung Penyang (IAHN-TP) Palangka Raya held the Opening Ceremony of Basic Education (Pradiksar) and Beret Conferment at the Student Center Hall on Wednesday (17/9).
In his remarks, Commander of Menwa 604 IAHN-TP Palangka Raya, Rendi, emphasized the importance of cultivating the values of discipline, leadership, and high dedication among new members. He expressed his hope that all participants would follow the activities with commitment. On this occasion, a total of 21 new members from three faculties officially took part in the beret conferment ceremony.
Meanwhile, Commander of the Maharaya Regiment, Lalu Muhammat Isnaini, S.Pd., expressed his high appreciation for the successful implementation of the event. According to him, the increasing number of students joining Menwa reflects a strong enthusiasm to carry forward the leadership spirit within the Student Regiment. He also reminded senior members to guide the new recruits properly so they may grow into resilient young leaders with strong character.
Representing the Rector of IAHN-TP Palangka Raya, Vice Rector III for Partnership and Student Affairs, Budi Purnomo, S.H., M.Si., also delivered remarks. He stated that Menwa activities serve as a platform for developing character, discipline, and mental resilience among students. With the support of Ketut Suriana, S.Pd., M.Pd.H., as the Advisor of the Menwa Student Activity Unit, Budi emphasized the importance of wholehearted participation from all 21 Pradiksar and Beret Ceremony participants to foster integrity and disciplined personalities.
The event was also attended by elements of the IAHN-TP leadership, who expressed full support for student development through extracurricular activities, particularly Menwa, as a leadership cadre formation platform within the campus. //ar.ay//
