BEM IAHN-TP Holds Youth Dialogue to Reflect on the 97th Youth Pledge Day

IAHNTPNews, – The Student Executive Board (BEM) of Institut Agama Hindu Negeri Tampung Penyang (IAHN-TP) Palangka Raya held a Youth Dialogue to commemorate the 97th Youth Pledge Day at the Student Center Hall, on Thursday (30/10).

Carrying the theme “Strengthening the Spirit of Youth Unity Amid Contemporary Challenges,” the event aimed to foster students’ enthusiasm in contributing to the nation’s development in the modern and digital era.

In his report, BEM President, Okzan Rahmadani, stated that the dialogue was attended by 150 participants and featured two speakers, Andreas, S.Pd., S.IP., M.AP., and Eko Manaldi, S.H., M.Si., both officials from the Provincial Youth and Sports Office of Central Kalimantan.

Okzan encouraged all participants to continue thinking critically and creatively in developing themselves, while strengthening the spirit of unity and nationalism in the commemoration of the 97th Youth Pledge Day.

Meanwhile, the Rector of IAHN-TP Palangka Raya, represented by Vice Rector III for Student Affairs and Partnership, Budi Purnomo, S.H., M.Si., expressed appreciation for the success of the dialogue.

He noted that such initiatives serve as an important platform for synergy between student organizations and local government institutions, allowing youth participation and organizational spirit to be nurtured better. He also emphasized the importance of character building and adaptive thinking skills among students to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing era.

“Through this dialogue, students can improve their critical thinking, strengthen solidarity, and contribute positively to the campus and the wider community. We hope all participants follow the program earnestly from start to finish,” said Budi Purnomo. //ar//
