IAHNTPnews,- The Faculty of Dharma Duta and Brahma Widya (FDDBW) of Institut Agama Hindu Negeri Tampung Penyang (IAHN-TP) Palangka Raya, through the Information Technology Study Program, organized a Data Analyst Training program held for three days, 25–27 November 2025. The training took place in the FDDBW Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, on Tuesday (25/11), and was attended by faculty leaders and students of the Information Technology Study Program.
The training featured a competent speaker from the Digital Technology Professional Certification Institute, Dr. Dwi Wahyu Prabowo, S.Si., M.Eng., delivered comprehensive material on the understanding and application of data analysis in the digital era.

The event was officially opened by the Dean of FDDBW, Dr. I Wayan Salendra, M.Si. In his remarks, he emphasized that data analysis is an essential skill that Information Technology students must possess.
“Data analyst training is a necessity because information technology is closely linked to data management. It requires precision in distinguishing which data can be utilized, which should be deleted, and how to draw actionable conclusions from this classification,” he explained.
He further noted that data is not limited to theoretical concepts but also numerical information, which requires accuracy in connecting one piece of information to another to produce synchronized and accountable data. The training included not only theoretical explanations but also extensive hands-on practice, providing students with opportunities to improve their technical skills and understand the implementation of data analysis across various fields.

The Dean expressed hope that the program would bring broad benefits to students.
“I hope the knowledge gained will serve as valuable preparation for students as they enter society, whether in private-sector employment or government institutions,” he stated.
Through this training, the Information Technology Study Program of IAHN-TP reaffirms its commitment to continuously improving student competencies to ensure they are well-prepared to face the challenges of technological advancement in the digital era. //mr//
