IAHN-TP Palangka Raya Inks MoU with PT Queen Internasional Bali

IAHNTPNews,- Institut Agama Hindu Negeri Tampung Penyang (IAHN-TP) Palangka Raya officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Queen Internasional Bali on Tuesday (13/1) at the Second Floor Rectorate Meeting Room of IAHN-TP Palangka Raya. The event was attended by members of the IAHN-TP leadership.

The signing of this MoU aims to improve the competencies of students, lecturers, and educational staff in the fields of tourism and hospitality. In addition, the cooperation is focused on establishing a vocational learning ecosystem and promoting professional digital development within IAHN-TP, as well as improving the relevance of higher education to the needs of the digital industry and the modern workforce.

In his remarks, the Rector of IAHN-TP Palangka Raya, Dr. Mujiyono, S.Ag., M.Ag., stated that the collaboration represents a strategic step in promoting career development and skill improvement for the academic community.

“This cooperation is a highly positive initiative for campus development and for strengthening human resource skills and potential, particularly within IAHN-TP and Central Kalimantan in general,” he said.

The Rector further explained that the implementation of the MoU will be followed up through Cooperation Agreements (PKS) involving relevant faculties, especially those related to tourism and supporting sectors.

“Moving forward, this MoU will be operationalized through PKS at the faculty level, particularly in the tourism sector. This will serve as the foundation for academic activities and skills improvement programs aimed at improving human resource quality and graduate readiness for the world of work,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Director of PT Queen Internasional Bali, I Putu Eka Antoni Sukmajaya, S.S., M.BA, expressed his appreciation for the establishment of cooperation with IAHN-TP Palangka Raya.

“PT Queen Internasional Bali has established for ten years and is headquartered in Bali, with developments across several cities and regencies. Currently, we are also involved in the development of a pioneering vocational school in the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) in East Kalimantan,” he explained.

He emphasized that PT Queen Internasional Bali continues to grow as an institution by consistently improving quality and services.

“We sincerely thank IAHN-TP for providing space for collaboration and knowledge sharing, not only for students but also for lecturers. We hope this positive synergy will continue and bring promising outcomes for the institution,” he stated.

Concluding his remarks, the Director affirmed the company’s readiness to maintain active engagement, provide constructive input, and further refine cooperation concepts that support the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. //mr//
