Inauguration of the Student Representative Council and Student Executive Board of IAHN-TP Palangka Raya: “New Leadership, New Spirit”

IAHNTPNews,- Institut Agama Hindu Negeri Tampung Penyang (IAHN-TP) Palangka Raya officially inaugurated the Student Representative Council (DPM) and the Student Executive Board (BEM) for the 2025 term on Tuesday (13/1) at the Multipurpose Hall of IAHN-TP Palangka Raya. The event was held under the theme “New Leadership, new Spirit.”

The elected President of BEM is Yaya Laverda, accompanied by Asbradana as Vice President of BEM. Meanwhile, Yongi was elected as the Chairperson of the DPM of IAHN-TP Palangka Raya.

The inauguration and oath-taking ceremony were conducted directly by the Rector of IAHN-TP Palangka Raya, Dr. Mujiyono, S.Ag., M.Ag. In his remarks, the Rector expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the members of DPM and BEM for their dedication to advancing student development and the institution.

“I extend my sincere appreciation to DPM and BEM. Give your full commitment to the advancement of IAHN-TP’s young generation, particularly in strengthening human resource development in Central Kalimantan,” he stated.

The Rector emphasized that the leadership dynamics within student organizations in 2025 form an essential part of the learning process. According to him, every organizational process serves as a medium for improving human resource quality, both at the personal level and through collective organizational experience.

Addressing the newly inaugurated administrators, the Rector conveyed his congratulations and reminded them to carry out their responsibilities with a strong sense of accountability.

“Congratulations to the newly elected DPM and BEM administrators. Perform your duties with full commitment and dedication. Do not allow personal ambitions to overshadow your responsibilities, but uphold your oath and pledge for the collective interests of the organization and the institution,” he affirmed.

Furthermore, the Rector underlined the importance of integrity, loyalty, and ethical values in managing student organizations. He noted that leadership grounded in positive values and selflessness would guide organizations toward constructive and sustainable progress.

Concluding his address, the Rector encouraged all DPM and BEM administrators to actively contribute to strengthening human resource quality, not only within IAHN-TP but also for the wider community of Central Kalimantan, as part of a collective contribution toward realizing Golden Indonesia 2045. //mr//
