IAHNTP News,– Institut Agama Hindu Negeri Tampung Penyang (IAHN-TP) Palangka Raya has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the Higher Education Tri Dharma through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kalimantan Studies Researchers Association (APSK). The cooperation focuses on strengthening research, developing local wisdom, and enhancing the university’s contribution to the progress of communities in Central Kalimantan.

Rector of IAHN-TP Palangka Raya, Dr. Mujiyono, S.Ag., M.Ag., welcomed the establishment of the strategic cooperation. “We highly appreciate this collaboration with the Kalimantan Studies Researchers Association, particularly in efforts to study and develop the unique local genius of our campus, while exploring the rich cultural and religious heritage that forms part of Central Kalimantan’s local wisdom. We believe this synergy will bring positive impacts not only for the institution but also for society at large,” he said.
Meanwhile, Director of the Kalimantan Studies Researchers Association, Dr. Noorhidayah, underlined the importance of local researchers’ active involvement in every study on Kalimantan. “We believe that researchers originating from the local community have a deeper understanding of literacy, social context, and local knowledge essential for the studies we conduct. We open opportunities for collaboration not only in cultural and religious aspects but also in other relevant fields for the advancement of Kalimantan,” she stated.
Through the MoU, IAHN-TP Palangka Raya also encourages its lecturers, researchers, and academic community to actively serve as speakers, resource persons, and contributors in various scientific and research activities at regional, national, and international levels. //Ar//
