IAHNTPnews,- The Governor of Central Kalimantan, H. Agustiar Sabran, S.I.Kom., delivered a public lecture at the Multipurpose Hall of Institut Agama Hindu Negeri Tampung Penyang (IAHN-TP) Palangka Raya on Wednesday, 17 September 2025. The event was warmly welcomed by the academic community, especially students who enthusiastically attended to gain motivation and inspiration from the province’s top leader.
In his address, the Governor encouraged young people not to focus solely on becoming Civil Servants (ASN) but also to foster an entrepreneurial spirit and create new job opportunities.
“After graduation, do not only aspire to become an ASN. Be brave to open opportunities and create jobs for others,” he emphasized.
He further highlighted the importance of being proactive, working hard, and adapting to various situations.
“Wherever we are, learn something from that place. Successful people do not keep looking back, but start moving forward. Do not just be spectators where you are; take action and become a contributor,” he remarked.
The public lecture took place in a warm and joyful atmosphere, as the Governor delivered his messages with humor, yet rich in meaning. His words were filled with motivation and positive values that can be taken as valuable lessons for students to face the future with confidence.
Rector of IAHN-TP Palangka Raya, Dr. Mujiyono, S.Ag., M.Ag., expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the Governor’s presence on campus.
“We at IAHN Tampung Penyang Palangka Raya are ready to synergize with the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government in realizing the program of ‘one bachelor per family’. We sincerely thank the Governor for taking the time to visit and engage directly with our academic community,” said the Rector.
The public lecture is expected to ignite the enthusiasm of IAHN-TP Palangka Raya students to continue developing their potential, contribute meaningfully to society, and take an active role in the advancement of Central Kalimantan and the nation. //ay//
