IAHNTPNews,– Institut Agama Hindu Negeri Tampung Penyang (IAHN-TP) Palangka Raya and the State Christian Institute (Institut Agama Kristen Negeri, IAKN) Palangka Raya officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a Cooperation Agreement (PKS). The signing ceremony took place in the 2nd floor meeting room of the IAHN-TP Rectorate on Monday (22/9).
In his remarks, IAHN-TP Rector, Dr. Mujiyono, S.Ag., M.Ag., emphasized the importance of synergy among higher education institutions to strengthen their institutional presence and impact.
“The substance and existence of higher education institutions will not be strong if we work alone. Collaboration in carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education is essential. Faculty exchange is also a strategic step that needs to be done. Let us strengthen collaboration and solidify cooperation in building the human resources of Central Kalimantan,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the rector of IAKN Palangka Raya, Telthalia, M.Th., D.Th., stated that the long-established partnership between the two institutions should be improved toward a more productive direction.
“The development of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education is crucial. With this MoU, we hope to initiate joint research collaborations in the future, both at national and international levels,” she said.
As a follow up, the MoU signing was accompanied by the signing of specific cooperation agreements between the faculties of both institutions. This initiative is expected to strengthen academic networking, research collaboration, and community service activities in supporting the improved quality of higher education in Central Kalimantan. //ay//
