IAHNTP News,– The Hindu Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Dharma Acarya, Institut Agama Hindu Negeri Tampung Penyang (IAHN-TP) Palangka Raya, held a Guest Lecture for the Tattwa course (third semester) on Tuesday (30/9).
The lecture was conducted online via Zoom Meeting and featured Dr. I Nyoman Kiriana, S.Ag., M.A., a lecturer from Universitas Hindu Negeri (State Hindu University, UHN) I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar, as the guest speaker.
In his presentation, Dr. I Nyoman Kiriana discussed the essence of Tattwa. Etymologically, Tattwa means truth, reality, philosophy, essence, and purity. His explanation provided students with a deeper understanding that Tattwa is not merely a conceptual study, but also serves as a philosophical foundation for living a religious and social life.
The guest lecture was enthusiastically received by students of the Hindu Religious Education Study Program, particularly those who took the Tattwa course. The presence of a guest lecturer from another university was expected to broaden students’ perspectives, encourage academic dialogue, and provide new insights for a more comprehensive understanding of Tattwa.
Through this activity, the Faculty of Dharma Acarya reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing the quality of learning, providing diverse learning experiences, and strengthening academic collaboration with other Hindu higher education institutions across Indonesia. //Ay//
