IAHNTPNews,- Institut Agama Hindu Negeri Tampung Penyang (IAHN-TP) Palangka Raya has achieved another significant milestone in its efforts to prepare qualified and integrity-driven educators. Through the Training Institution for Educational Personnel (LPTK), IAHN-TP held the Yudisium and Inauguration of the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) Batch I of 2025 on Tuesday (4/11), at the Multipurpose Hall of IAHN-TP Palangka Raya.
A total of 195 participants were officially inaugurated as Hindu professional teachers, comprising 104 participants attending in person and 91 participating online via Zoom Meeting.
Rector of IAHN-TP Palangka Raya, Dr. Mujiyono, S.Ag., M.Ag., officiated the inauguration. In his remarks, he expressed deep appreciation for the dedication shown by all participants throughout the program.

“This inauguration is not the end, but the beginning of your journey as Hindu professional teachers. Be educators who embody Dharma, serve as role models, and make real contributions to shaping the character of the nation’s younger generation,” he stated.
He emphasized that Hindu teachers must be agents of change, educators who not only deliver knowledge but also cultivate moral, spiritual, and universal values. He further reminded participants to uphold the Teacher’s Professional Oath as a form of service to Dharma and society.
On the same occasion, he also presented key institutional achievements, including the 2023 submission for the transformation of IAHN into a university and the accreditation advancements achieved by several study programs.
The event was also attended by the Director of Hindu Education, Directorate General of Hindu Community Guidance of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Sudarsana, S.Ag., M.Si., representing the Director General. He emphasized the strategic role of teachers in strengthening the moral and spiritual foundations of the younger generation amid the challenges of the digital era.

“This inauguration is not merely ceremonial, it marks the culmination of a long process of building competence and professionalism. In the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI), the teaching profession is positioned at level 7. Therefore, I encourage all teachers to continue pursuing higher qualifications, including master’s and doctoral degrees,” he noted.
The ceremony proceeded solemnly, highlighted by the recitation of the Teacher’s Professional Oath and the signing of the professional ethics commitment. This moment symbolized a shared resolve to serve through knowledge and Dharma for the advancement of Hindu education in Indonesia.
With the successful implementation of this event, IAHN-TP Palangka Raya reaffirms its standing as a religious higher education institution committed to producing professional, ethical, and Dharma based educators, thereby contributing to the improvement and competitiveness of Hindu education nationwide. //ay//
