IAHNTPNews,– Institut Agama Hindu Negeri Tampung Penyang (IAHN-TP) Palangka Raya has once again demonstrated its commitment to improving student competencies through BNSP Public Speaking Training and Certification. The program is held over three days, from November 24 to 26, 2025, and is attended by 25 students from various study programs.
The training is organized in collaboration with AS Academy, a professional training and certification institution licensed by the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP). Throughout the three-day program, participants receive intensive materials covering public speaking techniques, stage presence, improvisation, and hands-on practice in delivering presentations before an audience.
The Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Partnership of IAHN-TP Palangka Raya, Budi Purnomo, SH., M.Si., expressed his hopes that the program would provide added value for students, particularly in meeting the demands of the workforce, which increasingly prioritizes strong communication skills.
“With this training, we hope that students will grow more confident and capable of speaking in public in a more structured, professional, and effective manner,” he stated during the opening ceremony.
Not only does this program serve as foundational training, but it also offers students the opportunity to obtain an official competency certification issued by BNSP, which serves as an important asset for their future career development.
The activity is conducted in an interactive format, combining theoretical sessions, practical exercises, and competency assessments guided by professional trainers from AS Academy.
Through this public speaking training and certification initiative, IAHN-TP Palangka Raya aims to further improve students’ personal capacity while strengthening their competitiveness in the professional world. //ay//
