MENYALANews,- In an effort to enhance the international academic engagement of its lecturers, particularly in the areas of research, publication, and global recognition, IAHN Tampung Penyang Palangka Raya has sent two lecturers, Dr. Ni Putu Eka Merliana and Kunti Ayu Vedanti, M. Fil.H., to participate in the Academic Cooperation Development Project for Network Institutions at Mahamakut Buddhist University, Isan Campus, Thailand, on Tuesday (4/3).
The program is conducted in the form of collaborative research and joint scientific article publications. Each participating institution sends two researchers representing various universities across Asia, including Mahamakut Buddhist University Isan Campus (Thailand), IAHN Tampung Penyang Palangka Raya (Indonesia), Souphanouvong University, Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka, Jihuashan Buddhist College, University of Foreign Languages and International Studies, Hue University, Universitas Hindu Negeri I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa, VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Vietnam Buddhist University.
The departure of the researchers from IAHN Tampung Penyang Palangka Raya was officially marked by a send-off ceremony led by Prof. Tiwi Etika, S.Ag., M.Ag., Ph.D., Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Institutional Development.
In her remarks, Prof. Tiwi Etika emphasized that this valuable opportunity should be utilized to the fullest. According to her, the program not only focuses on collaborative research and joint publications but also serves as a strategic momentum to expand the institution’s international network, considering that participants come from various universities across Asia.
“It is time for the lecturers of IAHN Tampung Penyang to take further steps and demonstrate their contributions at the international level. Let us work hand in hand to bring IAHN Tampung Penyang to shine and go international,” Prof. Tiwi Etika stated.
Participation in this program is expected to improve the quality of lecturers’ research outputs, strengthen the institution’s academic reputation at the global level, and open opportunities for sustainable collaboration among universities across countries. //ar//
